27 March 2012, the Second Day of the Seventh All Karnataka Don Bosco Youth Meet at Don Bosco, Tumkur, started with the morning prayers and the Holy Eucharist. The three-day youth convention has, ‘Youth for a Better World’ (Eligeya Nadige Yuva Peelige), as its theme. Nearly five hundred youth and staff members from 35 Don Bosco centres across Karnataka are participating in the programme. Fr. Konnanikad Michael, (Director, ICYM, Gulbarga) animated the Morning Prayer and Fr. Uday Kumar, (Rector, Don Bosco Institutions, Tumkur) presided over the Holy Eucharist.
Mr. TVN Murthy (Director, RAISE, Tumkur), Fr. Regi (Don Bosco, Yadgiri), Dr. Herold Christopher Crasta (Principal, St. Francis De Sales College, Bangalore), Prof. Ashwin (University of Tumkur), Dr Lokesh Babu (Neuro Psychiatrist, Tumkur) and
Fr. Mari Joseph (Director, ICYM, Karnataka) animated the morning sessions of the second day on the themes, ‘Youth and Value Based Political Leadership’, ‘Media Management Skills for Youth’, ‘Religion for Better Spiritual Consciousness, ‘Positive Thinking for Self Enhancement’, ‘Role of Mental Health in Achieving Success’ and ‘Youth and Emotional Literacy’ respectively.

Director, DB Yuvakara Grama, Ajjanahalli), Fr. Lawrence (Administrator, Don Bosco Tech, Bhadravathi) and Fr. Regi Pulicodu (Director, Centre for Social Action, Don Bosco, Yadgir), animated the afternoon sessions titled, ‘My Friendship Circle’, ‘My True Heroes’, ‘One Big Family’, ‘Family Conflicts’, ‘Social Values’, and ‘Leadership and Shared Responsibility’, respectively.
A campfire was organized on the penultimate evening of the Seventh All Karnataka Don Bosco Youth Meet at 8.30 pm. The programme began with a creative prayer followed by the lighting of the campfire, jungle beauty contest and cultural programmes. The participants danced their way to fun and frolic around fire.
